Cooling Baffles:

 
              
              Baffle Configuration shows a typical water baffle, illustrates some considerations in core cooling. The water flows all the way into the core, ensuring uniform, complete heat removal. It is critical to bring water to the end of the core pin to allow optimum cooling at the innermost section of the core region.

             When cutting a baffle coolant drop, designers should make it larger in diameter than the feeder tube in order to prevent a flow obstruction from occurring. The cross-sectional area of each side of the drop channel should equal the area of the feeder tube. In a typical baffle tube assembly, a water channel is drilled into the area to be cooled. An intersecting water channel provides water flow that is diverted up one side of the baffle and down the other.

 

 
 

Cooling Baffles:

                    Cooling elements connected in series that are used to cool pins, hollow areas, and deep draws. Used over very short runs where coolant pressure drops are not critical, in molds with few cavities from side to side, and in molds with large diameter channels and baffles. Generally metal blades are inserted into a drilled channel, dividing it into two semi-circles. The first semi-circle is the inlet, while the other is the outlet. Now Plastic Cooling Baffles are developed for easy insertion and effective cooling. They are non rusty and leak proof.
                    
                     Just drill the hole
to the standard size and insert the cooling baffle according to your required length.

Parting Lock :

               Parting locks are used in moulds for pulling the plates to a desired limit. They act like puller. The unique design and selection of right material  makes the performance of application more better.


      Features :


• Place the Parting lock bolt on moving side of the mold.

• Install min. 4 nos. on one mold. 2  nos. each on both sides of the plate.

• After placement of the Parting locks on the plate, turn the bolt to 90º and  plastic    lock will expand.

• Do not apply any lubricant on plastic part. Doing so will reduce the friction    and    grip.

• Use H 7  reamer in hole of the mold plate with + 0.1 mm range.

• Mould weight < 100 kgs , using 4 nos. of 13  E Parting lock.

• Mould weight < 500 kgs , using 4 nos. of 16  E Parting lock.

• Mould weight < 1000 kgs , using 4 nos. of 20  E Parting lock.

• If more load to be pulled then above limit then use more nos. of Parting locks to    be used. i.e. 6 or 8 nos.

• Very easy to assemble and disassemble without dismounting the mold from the    machine.
